Dražen Kovačević

Dražen Kovačević was born in 1974. Graduated from the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade (FPU)  is 1999. He has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions in the field of comics and illustration. He is the author of numerous illustrations for specialized comics shops and galleries in  France as well as for collectors. He is a participant in numerous comic book festivals and salons. He lives and works in Zemun.

Author of the comic series: La Roue, L'Epee de Feu, Walkyrie, La Meute de l'enfer, Carthago Adventures-Amarok, La Croix sanglante for French publishers: Glenat, Soleil, Les Humanoides Associes. Delcourt and Les Sculpteurs de bulles.

2017. Honorary diploma of the 49th Golden Pen of Belgrade

2014 Grand Prix of the 12th Comics Salon in Belgrade for short comics Neither in heaven nor on earth according to the script by Dragana Stojiljković 

2000 First prize for debut comic at the Glenat publishing house competition on the occasion of their thirtieth anniversary, with Goran Skrobonja as screenwriter, in Angouleme
