PAINTING FOR YOUTH
The program of the Painting for Youth course includes drawing and painting on prepared cardboard with acrylic paints, based on a template (photo), and the selection of motifs is done in agreement with the lecturer and is aligned with the work methodology that enables the student to better understand the basic principles of drawing and painting.
The goal of the program is to familiarize children with drawing and painting techniques, as well as to develop their sense of aesthetics, through familiarization with the basic means of artistic expression. The approach to each participant is individual so that the child can draw, paint, combine techniques and all this with the expert guidance of the lecturer. During the work, the lecturers gradually introduce the participants to the tools and techniques of work. The approach to each student is individual, and what we strive for in each specific case is quality and studious work based on developing one's own artistic expression. Experienced lecturers with many years of experience Jovana Živčić Radovanović, Doctor of Arts, Mirjana Đošić, Doctor of Arts, PhD student Marija Zdravković and Bojana Bojčić work with the children.
The course is divided into two days, on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the term intended for children up to ten years old (younger age) and on Sundays from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the term intended for children over ten years old (teenagers). The term on Saturdays lasts two hours because children of that age usually do not manage to last longer than the allotted time without the presence of their parents.
All materials for work are provided and included in the price. The studio is equipped with several professional easels, benches, work surfaces suitable for painting and tables with electric motors that adjust the height. Each student has at his disposal a large selection of acrylic or oil paints as well as pigments, depending on the technique and technology of work. A large selection of different brushes to work with goes without saying. The studio also has all the necessary technological aids such as projectors, computers, and drawing boards. The studio is equipped with all tools for top quality work. Attendees have the opportunity to use professional literature, art monographs and catalogs. With the professional guidance of experienced lecturers, participants will develop their talent to the maximum and achieve the best results.
Classes are held: Saturdays (younger age group) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Sundays (older age groups) from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
The price of the course on Saturdays is 6,500 RSD
The price of the course on Sunday is 7,200 RSD
The Youth Painting course has no time limit. Children attend the course as much as the parents think that the children need it, there is practically no end to the course because improvement is always possible. The course is paid in cycles of four hours and each hour lasts three or two hours, depending on age and time. Classes are attended once a week in the selected term and must be used within a period of thirty days from the moment of payment of the first term.
