PAINTING COURSE FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE IN BELGRADE
Art Central organizes a painting course for children and young people in Belgrade, aimed at developing creativity, artistic expression and basic drawing and painting skills through practical work and individual expert guidance.
The program is adapted to the age and experience of each participant. Children work in small groups, at their own pace, with the support of academically educated artists and lecturers.

WHAT A PAINTING COURSE FOR YOUNG PEOPLE LOOKS LIKE
The work on the course is based on practical drawing and painting tasks adapted to the age and experience of the child.
Participants work according to carefully selected templates and motifs, and the choice of tasks is coordinated with the lecturer so that the child gradually learns the basic principles of drawing, painting, composition, color and space.
The goal is not for all children to do the same, but for everyone to get a task that matches their abilities and interests.
INDIVIDUAL APPROACH TO EACH CHILD
Every child has a different pace of development, interests and way of expressing themselves.
Therefore, the program is not implemented identically for all participants. The teacher monitors the work of each child, gives individual corrections and adapts the tasks to his age, experience and progress.
In this way, the child gradually develops confidence in work, concentration and the ability to make artistic decisions independently.
DRAWING, PAINTING AND CREATIVITY DEVELOPMENT
During the course, children are introduced to different ways of drawing and painting and learn how to use the basic means of artistic expression.
Special attention is paid to understanding the shape, proportions, color, light, composition and relationship of the elements in the picture. Along with technical skills, we encourage the child to develop their own ideas and personal artistic expression, instead of just reproducing what they see.
AGE-ADAPTED PROGRAM
The course is organized in two groups.
The younger age group works on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The class lasts two hours, which is adapted to the concentration and needs of younger children. The older age group works on Sundays from 12 to 3 p.m., when students have more time for more studious work and more complex tasks.
WORK IN SMALL GROUPS
Working in small groups allows the teacher to devote enough time to each child. Participants do not have to do the same task at the same time or be in the same phase of work. Everyone can progress at their own pace, with the immediate support and corrections of the lecturer. This creates the atmosphere of an art studio, not a classic school lesson.
ALL MATERIAL IS PROVIDED
All the basic material needed for the work is provided and included in the price of the course.
Painting materials, brushes, easels, work surfaces and other equipment needed for drawing and painting are available to the participants. Therefore, parents do not have to buy all the equipment in advance in order for their child to start attending the course.
MEET THE LECTURERS
Experienced artists and lecturers from Art Central work with the children:
Ph.D. Jovana Živčić Radovanović , Ph.D. Mirjana Đošić and Ph.D. Bojana Bojčić .
During the work, the lecturers follow the development of each participant, adapt the tasks to his age and abilities and help him gradually develop technique, safety and his own artistic expression.
The Icon Painting course has no duration limit. Participants attend the course as much as they think is necessary, and there is practically no end to it, because improvement is always possible. The course is paid for in cycles of four lessons, and each lesson lasts three hours. It is planned that the lessons will be used within a period of thirty days from the moment of payment of the first installment.
